Laura began her career studying history of art in Italy at the prestigious Uffizi in Florence and the Peggy Guggenheim in Venice.  On returning to the UK she married her love of art and flowers and in 2011 Laura Hingston Flowers bloomed into existence and our journey began. By treating every arrangement as an individual piece of art and not an assembly line of blooms she has created a style that has been described as 'natural unmanicured elegance'.

As the business grew we naturally evolved by adding styling, which has allowed us to pair Laura's floral design with all aspects of the wedding or event to create a cohesive design.  In response to requests we have also added event management to the list of services we can offer our clients.  We can simply advise on overall event styling to coordination of vendors to complete management of the event so our clients up to relax and enjoy.  With theses changes we made the decision to change our name to 'The Flower Sessions'  in 2018, which more represents what we do. 

We champion British grown flowers in our arrangements.  We use local growers whenever possible as well as growing our own flowers in a picturesque 16th century walled garden nestled on the Great Fulford Estate in the south Devon countryside. By using local growers as well as growing our own flowers Laura can create stunning designs that feature naturally unique blooms, trails and foliage.
